Dan Lund

Dan trained as a hospital electrician in Ballarat many years ago and travelled Australia, living and working for 20 years but after all that travel returned back to Victoria and still lives in Ballarat.
He has worked in underground gold and coal mines, desalination plants, and high-voltage transmission yards
Dan has worked as a Project Manager installing generators at Telstra Exchanges for the last 9 years and before that he worked as a mining shift boss.
When he lived in the Northern Territory, during the 90’s, he travelled out to Aboriginal communities setting-up music instruments and PA systems for concerts and the like. Dan also worked in these remote communities as an electrician and developed a resourceful approach to remote projects.
Isaac Lund

In his early 20’s Isaac is a qualified domestic electrician from Ballarat, Victoria. Isaac has been working in Western Australia for the last 2 years on FIFO gold mines, first from Kalgoorlie then from Perth. He has worked across the bore fields looking after generators and pumping stations. He also looks after a wide variety of heavy industrial wiring on mine sites around the South-West area of Western Australia.
Father and son duo, Isaac and Dan started this endeavour in 2019. Issac was one of the founding members of GenerAide. Together they explored Timor Leste with the help of Eddie De Pina to search for where back up power systems were needed.
We tragically lost Isaac in a car accident in 2021. As a family we decided to make GenerAide Isaacs legacy, to continue the works he started in Timor Leste. It is our mission to continue the commitment and passion that Isaac felt for the country of Timor Leste.
Eloise Lund

Eloise Lund is the dedicated daughter of Dan Lund and the sister of Isaac Lund. She has traveled extensively through the world and found in Timor Leste a place that suits her love of helping communities. People gravitate towards her bubbly personality and sense of humour.
Eloise went to Timor Leste in 2024 whilst being heavily pregnant. Her determination to see Generaide’s projects and wishes come to fruition is astounding and she is a crucial part of the Generaide team.
Acacia Lund

Acacia is the youngest sister in the Lund Clan. She is a vibrant young lady who enjoys music and is very well travelled for her young years. Her first time in Timor Leste was in 2024 and she led the charge unloading the container to be distributed to the districts around the north west area of the country.
She has a passion for helping others in her work and life in general, so this project was a good fit for her personality and drive to make a difference.
She loves to travel and explore different parts of the world but Timor Leste and its communities hold a special place in her heart.
Jacinta Lund

Jacinta came on the scene just as GenerAide was starting and has been Married to Dan since 2022. Her organisation skills as well as her happy demeanour have been a great asset for GenerAide.
She has a real compassion about her and loves to be involved in the community service sector. Her experience in childcare, disability and aged care stand in good steed for the crucial works that we carry out in Timor Leste.
She is young at heart and reaps great joy from helping others, especially the little ones. She is well travelled and has a real connection the Timor Leste community after travelling there in 2024 to help distribute donations from our container.
